Our story is familia.

At Lago Café, we bring the soul of Cuba to Santa Fe. Founded by a family rooted in Cuban tradition and a passion for good food, our restaurant is more than a place to eat—it’s a place to connect, share and feel at home.

Our journey began in Cuba, where traditions, resilience and the warmth of family shaped us. With dreams of a brighter future and the help of incredibly generous friends and family, we left our lives behind and eventually found a home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Every dish carries the flavors of our homeland and the spirit of the adversity we overcame. Every recipe tells a story, every corner reflects love, and every guest becomes part of our extended family. Thank you for being part of a story that continues to unfold every day.
